Wow...
But besides a 2 and a half year old reciting Hamlet, did you know that Fall Out Boy broke up last week?! I'm still trying to find out as to why, but this is hilarious...Sad thing is, Patrick Stump really does have a lovely singing voice. Here's one of my favorite covers they did:
Not quite the end of an era, but a lot of Pete Wentz fangirls have probably cried themselves to sleep since last Thursday.

Sunday night post!
Wanted to post since Clockwork Island updated yet another thing I'm working on.
Ask Dr. Mrs. Whatsername
Something to break up the daily routine; I'm running a faux advice column.

Super Excited!
I know this post is the first of the whole week but I'm seriously excited that I need to share.
For the past month or two, I've finally decided that probably the last doll I'll really want and get was going to be a MiniMee sculpted head of Gerard Way along with a body from another company. Needless to say, D.I.M. only sculpts a celebrity once a year before doing it again. Since I missed the Gerard feeler group, I put up a WTB (Want to Buy) add in the marketplace on DoA. Not even an hour later, I got a reply from someone offering to sell me their Gee Way head for only $110 + shipping!!! Which honestly ISNT that bad! The heads usually cost about $400 on their own, so this made me super happy! My plan for him is to get him one set of really nice eyes, and a decent body that can pose. But I also want to get him about four different wigs (3Cheers, TBP, pink hair, and shaggy) along with two really nice outfits and one casual one but one nice pair of shoes. All in all, Gerard is going to run me maybe...$600 all together. But seriously, this last doll is worth it so why not go out with a bang? He's going to be a gradual thing and I'm willing to wait.
Besides doll news, I have even better news! Rob agreed to let me move in with them when I start going to school in the fall at New Paltz! I'm finally moving out of my house! This is so exciting! This day was fantastic!
Sorry! Just needed to share!

Home again.
Been a very busy week but very productive! Just came home from a fantastic weekend with Colin and did some fun things.
Good news! The Clockwork Island is now LIVE! That's right!! The site is totally up and running and its fantastic. I started up my personal webcomic, Roll for Initiative, which updates Fridays and KillerRobot finally has a permanent home! I'm very excited about all of this and extremely proud of all the work Colin's done. Please go and check it out! There are a number of webcomics and articles to read; plenty to entertain yourself with.
Also, I got my nose pierced this weekend. Colin came with me to Planet New York to see Dave (the piercer who did Col's ears and my conch) about getting my nose pierced. After the deed was done and I passed out, I am now the proud owner of one nostril piercing:
This has been something that I've always really wanted and was too scared about how others would see me if I did it. I've come to a point in my life where I really dont care too much how my peers view me with any tattoos or piercings I have on my person. I absolutely love how it looks. You cant see it, but the stud is teal. If you live in Dutchess County and are looking for a good piercer, Dave is your guy! I HIGHLY recommend him looking to get anything of that nature. The man definitely knows what he's doing.
Other than that, not a whole lot happened; got a lot of homework done and saw friends. Im just happy the site is up and running. I wanted to pop in before heading off to bed - school and work in the morning. Oh!! That reminds me! I got a job!!! I dont know if I mentioned, but I got a job at a local moving and storage company over in White Plains and I'm super happy to be bringing in some cash!

These tired bones...
Half of the week is gone and I havent gotten a chance to even update.
Some good news - I landed myself a part time job! I'm over at a moving company doing clerical work. I'm so glad that I've actually got a paying job and I'm not waiting around for commissions anymore! Though I still do them. I basically went right from work today to my night dance class. Its no fun to do it right after a 7 hour work day, but it felt good to move around after being stuck at my desk for the whole day.
School's also started up...and it's kicking my ass. My classes are pretty good so far; I love my painting teacher. Comp & Lit is alright and jazz dance is...okay. I've got print making tomorrow and a health lecture tomorrow, so we'll see how that all plays out. I really hope to make some awesome things this year, especially in painting and print making...I'm scared that I've overloaded myself.
I'm a little upset that I wont be able to see Colin this weekend. He's got some comic business he's got to get ironed out. I understand that it's work and he needs to do it, I just miss him (especially since I dont see him during the week). Just a few more days...
I think I'm going to veg out...

Yeah, yeah, no post since Tuesday...
As much as part of my new years resolution was to post every day like I used to, I completely failed last week and I apologize.
I still cant believe that I start classes on Tuesday. I'm happy that this is, for sure, my last semester over at WCC and I wont ever have to go back there for anything else after this. Now its just the task of finding a place to live for next semester for when I'm up at New Paltz. I'm glad that things are falling into place, even though its happening slowly, its still happening. That's all that matters.
Col and I went up to visit my former professor, Jay, while he was up visiting from Florida. It was the rain check party for the tree burning that go rained out last month. Needless to say, it was a fantastic evening which ended up with a rousing game of Apples to Apples. I'd never played with him before and I'm happy to see he plays just as dirty as we do. He mentioned that he'll be back up once every month, so it's something to look forward to! Good times are always had at the Carucci house. We ended up pulling in around 2.30 in the morning, from what I can remember (I admit, I was a bit drunk) but it was worth it.
Other than that, the weekend was pretty decent; took Col up to Nyack to go to a head shop to get more hookah tobacco which has just made me want to get a small hookah of my own. I know I shouldnt, and I'm saving my money for some great body modification in the near future. We'll see. For some reason, 287 has been getting seriously bottle necked lately, to the point where it's damned near frustrating to drive on...
Besides the real world, I havent spent as much time gaming as I'd like. I miss having time and groups to actually get a good tabletop game going, it would even be great to get back onto City of Heroes if I had the scratch...I'm just lucky that I'm still able to pay for my Xbox Live account.
Until tomorrow, my last day off!

American Idol
I heard about that otaku on American Idol tonight...and I was shocked to find out that I KNOW that girl. We were table neighbors at SITAcon 2009...
I feel bad that she didnt make it on though.
Seriously at a loss for words at the moment.
